Villa Amores is a charming Spanish finca that sleeps up to 6 guests, located near the whitewashed mountain village of Canillas de Aceituno in La Axarquía. The villa combines a peaceful setting with plenty of space, comfort and beautiful views over the surrounding mountains and valleys.

The property has three spacious bedrooms and three modern bathrooms, two of which are en suite. Two bedrooms have direct access to the generous rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy sweeping views and the tranquillity of the Andalusian landscape.

Inside you'll find a cosy living room and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The villa is generously laid out, offering plenty of room for six guests to stay together in comfort.

Private pool and Mediterranean garden

Outside there's a large private pool, perfect for cooling off on warm summer days. Around the pool you'll find several seating and lounge areas, ideal for relaxing.

The Mediterranean garden creates an inviting setting to enjoy the Spanish sun, the peace and quiet, and the view.

The spacious rooftop terrace is also a wonderful spot to sit outside and end the day with views over the mountains and valleys of La Axarquía.

Villa Amores combines modern comforts with the charm of a traditional Spanish finca, making it a lovely place for a relaxing holiday in authentic Andalusia.

The village of Canillas de Aceituno is about a 25-minute walk or 6-minute drive away. Here you'll find a bakery, a small supermarket and several restaurants and bars.

For stays of 7 nights or more, final cleaning, bed linen, towels and electricity (under normal use) are included.

Villa Amores is managed on a daily basis by the owners themselves.

From whitewashed mountain villages and hiking trails to the beaches of the Costa del Sol

Villa Amores is located just outside Canillas de Aceituno, a characterful white mountain village in La Axarquía. Here you can enjoy authentic Andalusian life, while nature, the beach and well-known spots along the Costa del Sol remain within easy reach.

Canillas de Aceituno is known for its narrow streets, charming squares and local restaurants. From the village, you can also discover the popular El Saltillo hiking trail, with its impressive suspension bridge over the gorge.

Nature lovers will find plenty of hiking opportunities through the mountains and valleys of La Axarquía. Other whitewashed villages are scattered throughout the region too, perfect for a day trip or lunch.

For a day by the sea, it's about a 30-minute drive to Torre del Mar, where you'll find a long promenade, wide beaches, shops, restaurants and lively chiringuitos.

Nerja is also easy to reach and well known for the Balcón de Europa, its beaches and the Nerja caves.

Málaga and Málaga Costa del Sol Airport are about a 50-minute drive away, so you can easily combine a peaceful stay in the mountains with a day out in the city, some culture or a beach visit.

A car is recommended for Villa Amores, so you can easily explore the surrounding area and the various villages and beaches.

Thanks to its location, Villa Amores is a great base for anyone wanting to combine tranquillity, nature and authentic Andalusia with day trips to the Costa del Sol.

From Amsterdam, we travel to this special place as often as possible, a place that captured our hearts from the very first moment.

From the very beginning, the villa felt like a warm embrace: atmospheric colours, a clever layout with an impressive sense of space, and of course the phenomenal view that changes throughout the day. Every sunrise and sunset is different, yet always equally enchanting.
