This lovely apartment is located in the typical Spanish mountain village of Alcaucín, situated in the beautiful Axarquía region of the Costa del Sol. The apartment is rented monthly (minimum stay of 30 days), making it ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the mild climate a little longer: winter visitors, remote workers, peace seekers, and lovers of authentic Andalusia. Casa Estella is within walking distance of the village center, where you will find a small supermarket, cozy bars, and local restaurants. Another great advantage is its location at the foot of the Sierra Tejeda nature reserve.

Three living levels with comfort and views

Top floor – Living with a view

At street level, you enter the bright living room with an adjoining spacious terrace. From here, you have beautiful views over the swimming pool and the impressive Andalusian mountain landscape. The kitchen is fully equipped, and this floor also includes a separate guest toilet.

Bedroom floor – Two bedrooms and two bathrooms

One level below are the two comfortable bedrooms. Both rooms have their own bathroom, one of which is ensuite. The larger bedroom also features a small balcony — perfect for a peaceful morning moment in the fresh mountain air.

Lower living level – Practical and spacious

Going down one more floor, you will find additional storage space and the washing machine. Ideal for a longer stay, ensuring that all the comforts of home are within easy reach.

For long-term stays of 10 months or more, we apply a fixed monthly rate of €865, including water and Wi-Fi (excluding electricity).

The apartment is located at the foot of the impressive Sierra Tejeda nature reserve, a paradise for hikers, peace seekers, and nature lovers. From Alcaucín, you can reach the heart of nature within minutes.

Central location for day trips

The location is ideal for anyone who wants to discover the best of Andalusia. In just 25 minutes, you can drive to the lively coastal town of Torre del Mar, with its wide beaches, charming promenade, and plenty of dining options. The city of Málaga and its international airport are about a 50-minute drive away—perfect for a cultural day out, visiting museums, or taking a relaxed stroll through the historic centre. Granada, famous for the Alhambra and its charming old town, can be reached in approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Close to Lake Viñuela

Within just a 10-minute drive, you will find the beautiful Viñuela reservoir. A beloved spot for picnics, walks, or simply enjoying the views over the turquoise water. The area is peaceful, green, and full of pure Andalusian charm.

A private hideaway where we can repeatedly enjoy the peace, the light, and the beauty of this area. Since, unfortunately, we cannot be here all year round, we lovingly share our spot with other life enthusiasts.
